Notes from Curtis Kohl, 2013: Denver Pass is on a side road off the Engineer Pass road coming up from
Animas Forks (CR-18) just south of Denver Lake. Turn west and follow this mildly rocky and narrow road
approximately 1 mile (should be big bike friendly if ridden slowly) to the summit at 37°56'54"N 107°34'24"W
at 11,900 feet that divides Miner's Creek (west) and Burrow's Creek (east). This one is referenced in the
Helmuth Book (pg. 67), the Great Gates by Sprague (pg. 394), Colorado Pass Book by Koch (pg. 157), and
Mountain Passes, Adventure Roads in Colorado by Edmondson (pg. 69).
