BMW MOA Grand Coddiwomple - 2021

BMW MOA Grand Coddiwomple

IT'S THE GRAND CODDIWOMPLE!
The BMW MOA is excited to announce a free new riding activity for 2021 open only to MOA members - the Grand Coddiwomple! What is a Coddiwomple,
you ask? Well, it means “ to travel in a purposeful manner toward a vague destination”. So, think of this is as a large-scale scavenger hunt
created just for BMW MOA members!

The Grand Coddiwomple is about all the places you will go and the fun things you will do that you would not have done otherwise. You get to choose
your own Challenges and routes ridden on your own schedule! Everything is spelled out on the RULES and CHALLENGES pages.

Completing this activity should be relatively easy. Scoring a very high points total will be more challenging. Although there are some competitive
elements, it’s not about prizes nor competition. It’s about all the things you’ll see and the places you’ll go! It’s designed to give everyone the
opportunity to participate, even if your riding time is limited. The entire point of the Grand Coddiwomple event is to have fun riding your motorcycle!

This event runs from April 1, 2021, through October 31, 2021.

SADDLE UP AND RIDE - 200 points. Limit 1 submission. === 200 points

Eggselent Falls – 50 points each. Unlimited submissions. === 1 x 50 = 50 points
Say it with us, folks! Humpty Dumpty had a legendary great fall! So, this challenge is to capture photographic proof of a visit to a Humpty Dumpty
representation such as a statue, mural, sign, or other image too large to fit in your bags (i.e., something too big to take with you).

Colorado Springs, CO

The Dirt Nap – 50 points each. Limit 1 submission.
A “Dirt Nap” is when your motorcycle falls over. That is always a great fall, and as we all know, the probability of that happening is often directly
proportional to the size of the crowd and the cost of the bike. So, provide photographic proof showing your flag, your motorcycle taking a dirt nap,
and you striking a heroic pose. This challenge can include staged dirt naps as well as legitimate falls.

no photo, no points

Fall in Love – 50 points each. Limit 1 submission.
Arguably, the greatest fall of all is when we fall in love! For this challenge provide a photographic depiction of falling in love. Be creative. You
must convince us it depicts falling in love. And keep it PG13, folks. NOTE: This challenge requires that YOU be in the documenting photo along with
your motorcycle and event flag.

Fall in Line – 50 points each. Limit 10 submissions. === 4 x 50 = 200 points
We all must fall in line at one time or the other, so get in line with your friends (or total strangers). For this challenge you must provide
photographic proof of 5 or more motorcycles parked or positioned in a line. Your flag must be clearly visible, and your motorcycle must be one of them.

Canyons are the world’s natural cracks, so this challenge is about your motorcycle “falling through a crack”, or rather a canyon. Provide photographic

Examples: “Grand Canyon”, “Duncan Yonty”.

Place names containing “Falls” – 50 points each. Unlimited submissions. === 2 x 50 = 100 points
Any place name containing the word “Falls”. Examples: “Idaho Falls” or “Fallston”. “Fallon” would not count because it is not plural – does not
include the “s”.

Military Falls – 50 Points each. Limit 100 submissions. === 8 x 50 = 400 points
