Carl and I took our photos on the high point of the current CR-2, 1/10 mile south of the recognized
location of the summit of Gunsight Pass.
After being there and looking more at the maps, my guess is the original south approach to Gunsight Pass
went from 40 10 22N 106 18 12W on CR-24 north and then west
instead of the current CR-2 which goes west and then north.
