Two-Bits - Schedule

  • Days or weeks prior to riding the rally, preregister (required).
  • Several days before your ride - Check-in. There isn't a check-in for this rally, but in most multi-hour rallies an odometer check is done during check-in. It involves riding a pre-set route and having the rally volunteers note the mileage that your motorcycle actually registers over that route. For this rally we'll just use the milage shown on your odometer (not trip meter).
  • Several days before your ride - Mandatory Riders' Meeting. Read the bonus examples page, the riding safely page, the preparation page, the what to bring page, and the general rules page. Just as if you were physically at a riders' meeting, the rally will be discussed and you will be reminded to ride safely and not like a jerk. If you have questions, you may e-mail them to me at bishoprl at earthlink dot net .
  • Before your ride - Bonus listings passed out (whenever you print them.) Begin your route planning.
  • Starting time (as shown on gas receipt from the McDonalds/Shell or Circle K/Conoco station in Littleton, Colorado) - Riders may depart.
  • Finish time - (as shown on 2nd gas receipt from any gas station in Buena Vista) - Riders due at the finish point.
  • Starting time + 8 hours - Penalty period begins.
  • Starting time + 10 hours - DNF limit. Riders not in by then will be classified as DNF (did not finish) and will receive zero points for the day, but are encouraged to participate in the activities after the rally anyway.
  • Early September - Results posted.
